Playing outside

Mommy and Daddy let me play outside.

I would pick up the gumballs,

and then throw them!

It's lots of fun!

They're kinda prickly.

Mommy got my push-toy. It makes music when you move it!

I pushed it over here...

and over here...

but when I started to push it towards the street, Daddy said no, I pitched a fit, and it was time to go inside.

Family fun on a Friday night

This evening, we went shopping at Old Navy, and saw Cousin(s) Rebekah, Doug, Elisabeth, and Spencer. It was my my first time meeting them. I was much more interested in the balls they had in bins here and there. I wasn't too interested in sharing, either.

At home, while we were getting ready for bed, I got to play with my new football.
(Daddy's note: it's very hard to get a good picture of a moving 19-month-old.)

When Mommy mentioned football, I pointed to the TV, because when you play football, it's on TV, right?

I like my new ball.

and here I am attacking Daddy.

weekend at Nana's

This weekend, Mommy and Daddy went to Petit Jean State Park with some friends, so I got to stay with Nana and Grandpa.

While Mommy and Daddy were hiking and looking at trees and rocks,

I was having lots of fun.

I got into stuff I shouldn't...

Ate crackers...

got into some more stuff I shouldn't...

Then, we went for a wagon ride.

I'm a bit of a backseat driver....

Cheese!

Then, I helped Grandpa sweep the back deck.

Nose.

Nose.

I wonder what's out here?

While Mommy and Daddy were watching the sunset...

I was fussing at Aunt Michelle!

It was about time for me to go to bed.

It was lots of fun! We should do things like this more often!

First Haircut

Saturday started like any other day.

A nice breakfast of yogurt...

and bananas.

Then Mommy and Daddy took me to somewhere I haven't been before. There were lots of nice people to wave at and say "Hi" to, and give me suckers....

The sucker tasted pretty good. They put some kind of clothes on me and Mommy after I screamed that I didn't want to sit in the big chair by myself.

Then it started. The nice lady turned out to not be so nice after all.

First she sprayed water in my hair, then started combing it....

Then, she started doing something else, and my hair started falling off!

they gave Mommy a red button that talks and turned their tv's to a football game to try and calm me down, but it really didn't work.

I let them know I was not pleased with the way I was being treated.

I'm not sure I've ever screamed that much, or that long.

They even made me drop my sucker!

She just wouldn't stop!

Then another lady started in!

They finally quit after a while, though.

They must have quit because they couldn't get any more hair to fall.

I'm not sure I want to go back there again.

All I have to say is....

WWWWWWWWWHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOO
PIG
SOOOIE!
By the way, I CAN tie this post to Dillon...
I have taught him how to do "Whoo pig sooie!" (he sticks one hand up when he does it and grins.)
Also, he watched the first half of the first half (got that? re-read it if needed) of the game before it was obviously time for bed.

long-overdue Christmas post (sorry)

Christmas Eve we all went to (Diane's) Uncle John's house for that side of the family's get-together.

Here's Dillon with Nan, not to be confused with Nana, who is Grandma Drilling. (the only one we've got a name for so far, tho she shares the name with a certain yellow fruit)

Dillon had fun going up and down the stairs. He kept forgetting that there were three stairs, not two, and fell a couple times.

He wasn't too impressed with the present-opening.

He did enjoy giving the wrapping paper to Cousin Andrew.

Christmas morning, he got Santa's present, a book set, and some presents from Mommy and Daddy. We didn't take any pictures, just video. We'll try to get that up as soon as possible.

After that, we went down to Benton to Great-Grandma's house for brunch.

Christmas day, we ate lunch at Nana and Grandpa's house, and opened presents there.

The next morning, we went to (Aunt) Karen's house for breakfast.

Family Photo!

(Aunt) Pam shared her bacon with Dillon. He seemed to like it. Like father, like son.

He and Sydney went just about everywhere together.

They had stairs too!

He had lots of fun chasing around their puppy, too.
