Christmas for Two, Part Two

Sunday afternoon, we all went to Mimi's house for dinner and more presents.
Cousin Rachel rocking Michael in a rocking chair that has rocked more babies than can be counted.

Dillon wasted no time going to play with Elijah's toys.

Then, he led Elijah and Mema on a trek around the house searching for "the puppies" a la 101 Dalmatians.

This included lots of running up and down the halls. Mema got quite a work out.

Michael met yet another aunt, Aunt Ellen, from St. Louis.

Papa read a wonderful poem, written by one of his friends, about Baby Jesus.

Then, Tapa sang "Mary, Did You Know?"

After that, came presents! Dillon got lots of new toys, and Michael got some clothes and a few toys. Dillon's favorite toy was a foam sword cousin Stephen got him.

Cousin Claire, the youngest of Mimi's grandchildren, holds Michael, the youngest great-grandchild.

Cousin Joseph and Dillon play with one of Elijah's toys while he's busy with another.
Today, we went to Wal-Mart and bought Dillon some trains to go with his new set, a new coat, and some new "Buzz Lightyear" shoes with a gift card from Uncle Tom.
We all have had a wonderful Christmas!

Christmas for Two

Christmas Eve Day, Cousin Rachel came to visit. She loved holding Baby Michael.

That evening, we went to Little Rock church. We got to watch Nana and Michelle play handbells.

Dillon got to help Babba run sound.

Michelle was holding Michael, so Dillon wanted to sit in her lap, too.

After church, we went to Nan and Uncle John's house for supper and presents.

Cousin Westin got to eat supper, too.

Dillon played with cousin Zach.

Dillon got to open a lot of presents. He opened all of Michael's since he couldn't.

Christmas morning, Dillon slept in, then posed for a picture with Little Brother before seeing what Santa brought.

Santa brought a really big train table and train set!

He was so busy with it, he almost didn't want to open any other presents.

Michael was more interested in other things, though.

Dillon got a Blue's Clues DVD,

And Toy Story 3, and a Bible.

After presents, we went to Mimi's house for breakfast. Dillon helped cousin Elijah play with his new toys.

Michael just hung out with whoever would hold him. It wasn't hard finding someone to hold him.

After that, we went to Nana's house for lunch and more presents.

Michael got a bunch of hangers! Oh, and some clothes, too.

Dillon got a flashlight of his very own!

And another train set for Nana's house.

Cheese!

And the reward for taking a picture with Michelle, playing the piano on her phone.
Today, we're going to rest from all this excitement, then go to Mimi's house for dinner and even more presents!

Busy, busy, busy.

We've been very busy. Michael has been busy eating and sleeping, Dillon has been busy loving his new baby brother, playing, watching movies, and trying to destroy everything in sight. Mama and Daddy have been busy keeping up with two little ones and getting ready for Christmas. Dillon has even helped wrap a few presents.
The other morning, Dillon crawled up in Mama & Daddy's bed, and asked Daddy, "Am I still a big brother?" Daddy told him, "Always."
Michael on his play mat for some "Tummy Time."
Taking a break from movies and little brother to take a picture of Daddy taking a picture. Eventually, Daddy will put batteries in that camera, and we'll see what we get.
Michael decided to wake up for a minute, so Mama took some pictures.

Taking a look at the Christmas tree.

We took Michael to the doctor, and everything was good. He still weighs 8 lbs, 4 oz. and has grown 3/4 an inch. Even though the outfit was too big, Mama said it looked cute, so we had a saggy, baggy, Michael.

Mama & Michael laid down for a quick nap before supper, and Dillon decided to join in.

Michael finally looked up and noticed what was above him in his swing. Later, there was more staring at the Christmas tree.

More pictures

"Take a picture of me, Daddy!" - Dillon wearing the new shirt Nana got him.

Dillon and Dodge, a horse we found hidden in storage.

All packed up and ready to go.

On the way home!

Quick nap with Nana.

Bedtime stories with the brothers. One is more interested than the other.

A nap with Mama before bedtime.
Dillon is the only one who slept well last night, as Michael was up and acting hungry almost every hour. We discovered later, that he was a little constipated, but a tiny bit of apple juice solved that.

Lil Brudder rolled to his side all by himself. And slept there for four hours.

Asleep in the swing, something his big brother never did.

Tonight, he was so thirsty, he grabbed the bottle all by himself. At least, until the flash scared him, and he dropped it.
