Fun with Leaves

Last Saturday, Daddy finally got the rest of the leaves in the front yard.

I helped.

Then Mommy and I played in them.

Whee!

We had lots of fun - the whole family.

Thanksgiving Weekend

After Daddy got off work, we headed over to Nana and Babba's house for Thanksgiving lunch. I didn't eat much. After lunch, I played with some of Nana and Babba's cups. It was fun!

After cups, I ate orange cookies that Nana made. I tried to lick the icing, but it didn't come off!

A little while later, we left for Benton. I fell fast asleep!

In Benton, I ate fruit salad and lots of candy!

This morning, after breakfast, Mama and daddy got the Christmas tree and ornaments out. I helped put up lots of ornaments. At one point, Mama cried because she thought it was so sweet. Silly, Mama!

I have my own section of the Christmas tree. Daddy threatened to change it, but Mama wouldn't let him.

Mama changed my shirt so that we could take the Christmas card picture. At first, I didn't like looking at the camera.

I am not very happy about this! However, we did get a picture... but Mama and Daddy aren't sharing it with everyone just yet!

Lots o' Halloween

This week has been all about Halloween, beginning with last Sunday. We went to a Halloween carnival at church. I didn't much care for the games - I just played my own game - "vaccuming." Mama said several people said I could come to their house and help!

My friends, Ryah and TJ, from daycare were there, too!

I thought Babba might need some help eating dinner - i.e. M&M's.

The church had a bouncy house for the little kids, like me, that were a little too small for the BIG bouncy house. Mama and Daddy decided I needed to be in it - I screamed at them. Maybe next year...

Mrs. Jennifer tried to help me play the duck game. I didn't really get it.

Daddy dressed up as The Man in the Yellow Hat. I was Curious George.

Friday night, Mama, Daddy and I went to Boo at the Zoo. They had different booths that I trick-or-treated from.

They also had BIG pumpkins!

Trick or treat! I got the hang of it fairly quickly.

When we left, we spotted Elmo! I liked Elmo from a distance, but he scared me a little bit up close and personal.

After Boo at the Zoo, we practiced trick-or-treating at Nana and Babba's house. They went to the Razorback game in Fayetteville on Saturday, and so we just pretended it was Halloween.

Saturday afternoon, we went to Benton for Saline-O-Ween, a carnival that benefited a teenage homeless shelter. We were a little late for the games, but there was a band that I got to dance to.

Babba met us down there. We enjoyed our time together.

Mema and Aunt Cara dressed up as silly people for a "nut" beauty contest. I didn't understand what was going on and mostly ran around drinking Mimi's water.

Mimi and Mama talked a lot...

Mimi's water is always the best. I threw a fit about leaving it in Benton, and so Mimi let me take it home. Thanks, Mimi!

I liked playing with Aunt Cara's hoola-hoop.

Mema and Cara sang silly songs and danced during their "beauty" contest.

Saturday night, we came home, changed and started trick-or-treating!

After visiting our neighbor's house, we went to Rev. Roy and Mrs. Sandy's house. They were happy to see me and gave me lots of candy!

After that, we went to Mr. Martin and Mrs. Nancy's house. They introduced me to their dog, Rocky, but he was too excited for me. I enjoyed seeing everyone else, though.


After we left, we went to Mr. Mike and Mrs. Nancy's house. Mike and I played LOTS!

Mr. Mike even let me sit on the kitchen table! Mrs. Nancy made lots of food - chili, cornbread, crackers... Mama and Daddy ate that. I ate candy! She also made a birthday cake because it was our friend, Mr. Ben's birthday. I sang Happy Birthday and ate birthday cake and ice cream!

Rev. Blake, Mrs. Kerri and my friends, Micah and Gabi came over. Micah was the Green Lantern and had fun zapping Mrs. Nancy! I would help her up and protect her!

Happy Halloween, everyone! I hope everyone else had a good holiday - I know I did!

Happy birthday, Mimi!

Yesterday we went to Mimi and Papa's house to celebrate Mimi's birthday and to celebrate Daddy's birthday a little late. I played outside with Rachel A LOT before Mama made me come inside.


I picked up the sticks and pretended to mow grass. Mama and Rachel also took me to the creek water. I didn't know what a creek was, and so Mama had to tell me it was water.


Rachel also helped me ride the tricycle. I had fun! But, I wouldn't ride it for Mama.

I noticed Papa had a big lawn mower. I liked to call it my lawn mower.

After supper, Babba let me have a brownie. It was really good!

I also helped Mimi open her presents. She got a lot of cards, and Mama and Daddy bought her a sweater and long sleeved shirt.

I sat in Daddy's lap while people sang Happy Birthday to him. Then it was cake time!

After we got home from daycare, mama was a little tired, so she laid down. I decided to lay down with her. Or on her, depending on your point of view.

Ponytails and Pajamas

Before Mama and Daddy went to Handbell Choir tonight, Mama put her hair in a ponytail. So, I asked Daddy to put mine in one, too! (Mama tells me that Daddy used to wear his hair in a ponytail before I was born!)



Rev. Blake and Mrs. Kerri gave me some new pajamas. Mama, Bob (the dog's new name), and I posed for a picture while watching football. Cheese!

Quarantined at Nana and Babba's

While Daddy was at home sick with the swine flu, I stayed with Nana and Babba.

It's hard work watching Nana and Babba all day.

Pictures Soon - Hopefully!

Well, the last few days have been busy, busy! This past weekend, we went to watch the Razorbacks play at my girlfriend Ashley's apartment. Chris took some cute pictures, but between school, work, and attending the Dave Matthews concert on Tuesday (yes, the show was great... thanks for asking!), we haven't had much of a chance to get the pictures on the blog.

This morning, Chris wasn't feeling well, and so I sent him to the doctor. According to the doc, he has the swine flu. So, now, Dillon has been sent to Nana and Babba's house until further notice. I have called Dillon's nurse, and she will be following up with me tomorrow to see if Dillon needs a prescription. I am just hoping and praying I don't get the flu! I have never had it, and I plan on keeping that true!

Until Chris feels well enough to get the pictures from his camera, we shall be picture-less for now. Hopefully we'll be up and attem soon!

Labor Day Weekend

Last week, Uncle Ben, Aunt Cheryl, and Elijah came to visit.

Monday, I got to play with Elijah at home with Mema and Baba while Mama, Daddy, Uncle Ben & Aunt Cheryl went to a movie.

Mama got to feed Elijah.

He likes the camera, almost as much as I do.

After we all ate dinner, we all played together.

Before they left to spend the night at Mimi and Papa's house, Mama and Elijah took one last picture.

Tuesday, Uncle Ben and Daddy took pictures of each other before we went to Build-A-Bear.

Uncle Ben bought me a monkey. His name is Curious George.

Elijah was a little pouty, but he got over it.

Elijah ate dinner in my highchair. I ate in my big-boy booster seat.

After dinner, we all played together again.

I tried to take Elijah's bottle, but he didn't like that very much.

I gave him a kiss, and he calmed down.

Daddy had fun making him laugh.

He was getting tired, though.

I enjoyed playing with my baby cousin!

I've been asking Mama and Daddy where Uncle Ben is, but they say I won't see them until Christmas. I can't wait!
