Fun with Babba

This past Saturday, Babba got to hang out with the boys all day while Mama, Daddy, Nana and Michelle went to a Handbell Festival.  The Festival was lots of fun.  Everyone practiced handbell music all day, and then performed it that afternoon in a concert.  Babba and the boys didn't make the concert since Michael was still napping.  But, everyone had fun!

Dillon was sick with a stomach bug on Sunday.  Mama and Michael went to church so Daddy could stay home with Dillon.  Dillon laid on the couch and watched movies while Daddy worked most of the day on a school project.  Dillon felt better by the end of the day and went to school today.

Fun day.

Yesterday, since the weather was nice, we played outside. Michael had fun in Dillon's Cozy Coupe, then enjoyed some crackers & milk for a snack in his highchair on the back porch. Dillon played with Green Lantern and Buzz Lightyear.

That evening, we let Michael play with Mema and the rest of us went to a UALR Trojans basketball game. Dillon had a BLAST.

Super Valentine

We went to a super bowl party with one of Mama's friends from high school, and Dillon had lots of fun playing with all the toys and the other kids. Michael roamed around, and fell hard enough to bruise his forehead.
"Daddy, come see what Michael's doing…"
There's a reason Nana calls him messpot.
Dillon's Pre-K class had an early Valentine party Thursday, since they were out of school Friday and Monday. Dillon got to decorate cookies.
It's hard to tell, but he got just barely more on the cookie than on himself.

Prayer Request

I promise pictures of the boys will be up soon, but I wanted to post a prayer request for my great-aunt, Nan, pictured above.  Nan is one of the sweetest, kindest, most gentle individuals I have ever met.  She has a great deal of patience, and loves her family fiercely.  Her face absolutely lights up whenever I bring the boys over for a visit, and so I know they do that over-time when her grandchildren and great-grandchildren come over. :-)

At the moment, Nan is in the hospital.  She is a fighter, but she would also be the first to tell you prayers help.  I know most of the people who read this are family, but I thought I'd post this as a reminder for us all to continue to pray for her, Uncle John (her husband - don't ask me why she's not Aunt Nan... it's just never been that way, ha!) and the entire family.

Thank you for praying on our family's behalf!
